IN CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Kreutzer
Canon: Gundemonium
OU/AU/OC: AU
Canon Point: post game
History: History of her life in canon and her in-game history
Personality: Before Kreutzer found herself in the Reaper’s Game, she was a scared, lonely girl whose misfortunes caused her to question fate in its entirety while the guilt from turning against her own empire and her only friend caused her to view herself as no different from a demon. She was too scared to do things alone and ended up taking a more reckless path that she’ll come to regret for the rest of eternity.

Though the regret will likely never leave her, Kreutzer’s time in the Reaper’s Game sharpened her resolve, her awareness of the world around her and gave her direction with which she could put herself to use for the benefit of others.

It’s important to note that what Kreutzer values most above all else, above her love of sewing and singing, above the home she grew up in, above even her own family, is her vision. Kreutzer forcibly lived a sheltered life back home and as a result, barely got to see the world outside the castle walls. At best, she had one window in her room that faced North, so even if she looked through it, she couldn’t see the sun rise or set. She wanted nothing more than to leave home and see the world in all of its wonder…and during her time in the Reaper’s Game, she did. She went to Japan, Romania, New York City and even a video game world…but during week four, when she had her sight robbed from her, she learned that eyes weren’t the only tool to see the world. It helps with taking in its beauty, yes, but like an art exhibit, it’s not enough to be able to look at the world or be able to touch it with her own hand; she had to feel it. Starting from week four, Kreutzer felt the energy of each location, the emotions and thoughts of the people, what made the world more than just something to look at…and she learned to do more than just see the world: she learned to experience the world.

For most of her time in-game, Kreutzer let her actions in life weigh her down; her guilt got so bad, she had a temporary lapse in sanity at the end of the first week. With no one to really count on for support at the time, the only way to help her was to literally beat some sense into her. That event was summarized what she feared most: going so out of control, she needed to be defeated and/or killed. She had enough of that in canon. Ironically, being a Reaper meant putting her in a very similar position on a daily basis: making her an obstacle for others to overcome. This only ever reached an extreme on day three, week six, when the idea of her being a demon that needed to be killed was further engraved into her mind.

However, this was quickly offset by week four, when she realized two important factors: the first was how difficult she is to kill. Although her meeting with Xion was a blatant act of serendipity, it meant little in comparison to her will to fight on and not lose so easily, to stand up to adversity whenever it forced itself upon her. The second thing she learned was the importance of others (and mankind in general) deciding things for themselves. Of course, it was okay to help guide them in the right direction every once in a while, but ultimately, it came down to their own actions. The second revelation truly hit her during her encounter with Nyx, where was willing to stand against the creature and Xion for the sake of fulfilling her duty.

Combined, these two revelations helped her learn what it really meant to be a Reaper: it wasn’t about just killing any Player they could find; it was about testing them and their will to survive. Resurrection and their most prized possessions were what all Players were meant to fight for and Reapers were meant to give them the strength to overcome adversity by presenting themselves as adversity. This heavily contradicted Kreutzer’s guilt towards her actions in life, but by week five, she learned to no longer flee from her inner demons and instead, embrace them. Her purpose was to be the necessary obstruction in others’ paths, a trial to be cleared so that they may grow stronger from it. Though she still repents her betrayals and actions in life, she uses those mistakes to better fuel her next actions, knowing now what not to do when guiding others into being stronger individuals. She even gained self-control, no longer allowing herself to lose her mind or get too emotional. She’s largely adamant while working, but she still has enough of her heart left to smile.

Her faith was brought into question numerous times during those six weeks, with a majority of the questioning being done during the second, third and fourth. During those early days, she questioned her worth and just how much of a change she could actually make. It largely began on day five, week two, the day she met The Flutters. The pony convinced her to buy a pet dog and for the remainder of the week, Kreutzer tended to and loved that little puppy. Needing to leave it behind for the third week truly dampened her spirits, making her believe she sent it to its death the instant they walked out of the pet store. That week was spent slowly rebuilding Kreutzer’s ability to believe and culminating at the late night meeting with Grovyle, where he reminded her of the life force of the world and the importance of faith.

His words alone gave her the willpower to survive the first day of week four. That week put her body and soul to the test, a test where she came out on top with a sharpened resolve and a cemented ability to believe…the ability to believe in others, to believe in herself and most importantly, the ability to believe at all.
Strengths:

Canon Abilities
-Flight is a natural ability of Kreutzer’s. It’s exactly what it sounds like.
-Danmaku attacks that consist of firing many bullets arranged into patterns. Coming from a doujin shmup game lets her do this.
-Enchanting is a key ability of Kreutzer’s. She can enchant items to give them special effects and abilities, but she mostly uses this to bring her dolls to life.
-Doll manipulation deserves a section of its own. The dolls she creates are sentient and very much capable of combat. Each one has its own personality and style of combat, but they each have kamikaze bombs they can detonate upon physical contact with an enemy.
-Exile Illusion is her transformation ability. Several photonic wings sprout from Kreutzer’s back, making her danmaku attacks intensify and gives her a large general stat buff.

Abilities earned in-game

Due to them being dead and without a physical body, Players and Reapers are all manifestations of their spirits. Without the restraints of a physical body, this meant physical exercise and strain were easier for many of them (though Kreutzer, weak as she is, only received a marginal boost to this). More importantly, this made them aware of the immaterial parts of the world. Their spiritual power heavily came into play by being able to slightly manipulate the RG via imprinting words into others’ heads, for example.

Such powers often got used in missions, but perhaps their greatest ability is the ability to channel their spiritual power through special pins found throughout the Reaper’s Game. Each pin had different strengths, effects and ranks, particularly positive (close range attacks) and negative (long range attacks). Due to her personality and alignment as a magic user, Kreutzer is only capable of using negative pins, but she can use many, if not all, of them. With a player pin, she’s also able to sense the world around her, letting her feel the world’s energy and read the thoughts of others, akin to telepathy. This, of course, will be handled through a permissions post.

As a Reaper, Kreutzer can freely travel between the UG and the RG, as well as set up barriers to block off others and summon Noise with the use of Noise pins (each of which are powered by pins that Kreutzer won’t have with her). She also has a pair of black reaper wings on her back, even though her magic allows her flight without them. They’re there whether or not she uses them.

Since Kreutzer became an officer-level reaper, she attained a Cantus form, which can be best summed up as a transformation you use when you become a boss character in the TWEWY universe. They tend to look rather animalistic. Kreutz's is no different; her form is that of a wolf. Like the wolf noise, her cantus form is very quick and hard to track. She won't have access to her magic while in this form, but she can switch in and out of the forms at will.

Weaknesses: Having went through so much hardship in so little time, Kreutzer has been burned pretty harshly and will act accordingly most of the time. She can be cold, keep to herself and may even snap at others if it's warranted. She's also prone to keeping her distance, as per her role as a reaper. This makes her distant (sometimes literally) and hard to talk to, if she doesn't want to be bothered.

Also she's physically weak, as per the standard of magic-users.

Possessions:
1 brown cloak
1 hunting bow
1 hair bow
1 Eyes Full of Hope Pin (Literally lets the user hurt someone by staring at them)
1 Player Pin
Pony/Animal Type: Unicorn
Cutie Mark: a doll
Pony Picture: Bam Since I lack photo editing skills, this picture is without the skeletal reaper wings she has.

SAMPLES
First Person: ...Well this will certainly do as a change of appearance. The less I have to explain to others about humans, the less confusing this will be. We do have a mission to complete, after all...

...Oh, and Composer? I apologize, but I seem to have misplaced my phone. This scroll will take some time to get accustomed to, but it'll have to do for now. Also, I need to speak with you about certain matters, regarding the change of setting. It...doesn't feel right. Not the world itself, but it's akin to Shibuya; we're here, but the game isn't. Did something go wrong?

(She shakes her head.)

...Nevermind; this won't impede my mission. I'll simply continue as planned, but I insist we speak before the day is over; we may have seven days, but we both know they won't last long.

Third Person: To the reaper, this was nothing new. She was long used to changes in setting. Sure, the form change was rather new, but it was doable. And hey, if walking ever proved to be a problem, flight was still an option. Good thing these wings made the trip with her...

...Speaking of belongings, Kreutzer tugged on the cloak wrapped around her. She didn't need it right now since the weather was delightfully bright and sunny, but it was a part of her; she wouldn't let something like weather part her from the cloak. It had too much sentimental value to easily part with. Whether or not it helped her look cool was irrelevant. Spoilers: it kinda did.

After gathering the necessary information, Kreutzer began her investigation in the Everfree Forest...Zecora's home. Such a mysterious plot of land seemed an appropriate home, considering what Kreutzer knew about the zebra, but the forest itself didn't interest her. No, not the forest; with Kreutzer's sensitivity to the world around her, she didn't want to add to the eerie feeling it gave her as she searched through it. What really kept her going was her mission, her obligation to Zecora. After all, this visit to Equestria was about the zebra checking in on her world and uncovering the mystery behind her death...but why did this feel it wasn't according to plan? Just like Shibuya, she couldn't feel the presence of the game. She couldn't even cross over to the UG. Where was the UG or the Players or even the Noise? She couldn't even feel Zecora's presence as she could when the zebra became the composer. Something was wrong with this. Something was very wrong with this. Did the game not transfer? Did Zecora trying to return to her world cause complications?

Kreutzer shook her head. She couldn't waste time worrying about her entire situation; it would only cloud her thoughts and her vision. Besides...she needed to have faith that things would work out for the better. That wouldn't be hard; she's believed in much more unbelievable things before. With no more hesitation, Kreutzer put another hoof in front of her. As long as she was here, she would make sure she got to the bottom of this.

EXTRA QUESTION: Since Kreutzer was dead in her previous game and her Reaper/Player abilities revolved around her being dead, would she have access to any of them in-game?
